Jipsa is situated 20 km from Keylong in a region described by travellers as strange, exciting and primitive. Set on the banks of the Bhaga river which has sufficient trout to interest keen anglers, Jipsa has a rest house and a mountaineer hut for those who want to stay over. There is also a big camping ground next to the river for the more adventurous.
