Ramgarh, located at a short distance of about 32 Kms from Jaipur, is a great center of attraction and picinic spot especially during the rainy and winter seasons. The landscape is beautiful when the lake is laden to the brim during the monsoons.

There is also a hunting lodge built by the Kachhawahas, for they often set out on elaborate hunting ventures when they were not busy fighting. Known by the name of Ramgarh Lodge, the building also highlights its ancient library and museum. However, the lodge has now been converted into a royal retreat by the Taj Group of hotels.
