Fambong La Wildlife Sanctuary, spread over an area of 51.76 sq km, is located at a distance of 25 km from Gangtok. The sanctuary is also home to large number of wild orchids. The richly forested area is known to be home for various species of wild animals and birds. The area is being developed as a short trekking trail.
